Fire Doors

We inspect all types of fire doors in all types of buildings whether domestic or commercial. We ensure your fire doors are compliant to FDIS industry regulations and provide remedial advice where required.

Why is it important to carry out Fire Door Inspections?

A fire protection system is only as good as the equipment you use. This is why it’s important to carry out maintenance checks on every possible point of failure and your fire door is no exception. It’s a life saving product that needs to be taken care of and has to be checked thoroughly to ensure it functions correctly.

Due to general use, traffic flow and wear & tear, all fire doors should be checked by the appointed competent person, every 6 months to ensure they function correctly. Any defect, damage or fault with the door should be reported and rectified immediately.

Ensuring that fire doors are safe and compliant is an essential part of building maintenance. If you own, manage or operate a business or building, you must comply to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This applies across England and Wales.
